Interesting facts about quails in Japan
The Japanese Quail is a species native to Japan and can also be found in neighboring countries such as China, Korea and Russia, while some can even be found as far as India and Africa. Many of these quails who are in East Asia migrate for the winter to places in Southeast Asia such as Cambodia and Vietnam.
Interestingly, although not too common, the Japanese do eat quail as they are considered a delicacy there.
